The next day, my Mom and I started our 15+ hour journey back to Houston. On the way we decided to stop at Garden of the Gods for a short hike. Garden of the Gods was absolutely beautiful, I only wished we had more time there.
After our hike about 30 minutes into our drive back home my suv decided it did not want to accelerate. I knew this was not good, I mean it’s not like Colorado is flat.. we needed the accelerator to work.
Slightly nervous, we decided to turn off the A/C and drive home with the windows down. Folks, this was in August and before lunchtime, it was hot and we had a long way to go and did not want to get stranded.
We ended up driving the entire way home with the windows down and with very little acceleration but we made it home.
The following day, I took my suv to the shop and found out the turbo charger in my Range Rover completely went out and they had to order a brand new one. Complete miracle we did not get stranded.
